Welcome back, everybody!  I hope you guys had a wonderful month. I did cut my hiatus a bit short because I couldn’t let you guys go back to an empty blog now could I?  Now about this outfit, I love it, because it’s super warm and totally cute! I actually created this outfit around this fabulous wrap coat from Gamiss.com.

Tis the season for plaid, so I implore all of you to bring out all of your plaid pieces and wear them. They totally deserved to be worn. I just can’t help gush about plaid,  I just adore this pattern for winter. I matched the jacket with this beautiful light gray button-down shirt.  Not a lot of people seem to realize that you can wear more than one pattern in an outfit. It just depends on how you to mix and match the scale and the color palette.  The shirt is a more discrete plaid with a wider spacing between the lines.

Untitled #119

With the shirt and the wrap around jacket, I matched them with a pair of simple dark wash blue jeans from Old Navy.  This type of cut and color is perfect for a plus size girl who wants a more streamlined and slimming look.  As for the accessories,  I went pieces that are both functional and comfortable!

First of all,  I choose these Quipid ankle boots forest green to match the coat, a military-style light green belt, blue and gray striped scarf, and my favorite item in the outfit is, of course, this fantastic Dasein studded tote bag

And this my outfit for a warm and comfy day around town. So what do you guys think? Do you love it or hate it?
